Photography
I've always had a passion for photography. Since I was a kid, I’ve loved the feeling of holding a camera and capturing the world around me. It started as an on-and-off hobby, but in 2023, I made a deliberate shift: I sold all my digital cameras and committed to shooting exclusively on film.
Photography has taught me to slow down, observe life, and live in the moment. Film, in particular, requires you to be more intentional—every frame counts. With only 36 exposures per roll, you learn to make each shot matter. That’s exactly why I chose to shoot film: to develop a more critical eye and gain a deeper understanding of the medium. I wanted to be confident when working with film on set, which ultimately prepared me for Delirium, my first project shot entirely on 16mm.
I love film not only for its aesthetic, but for the mindset it cultivates. It sharpens your instincts and teaches you to trust yourself—especially when you can’t see the results right away. Now, every time I pick up my camera, it becomes a moment of presence. I’m no longer just taking pictures; I’m observing, reflecting, and engaging deeply with each moment.
