I was born and raised in Cali, Colombia, where I lived until finishing my American high school. After that, I moved to Bogotá to study Business Management at CESA. A year later, I decided to transfer and pursue Film and Television instead, so I began applying to colleges and ultimately chose SCAD. I left CESA in April 2022 and worked at Plexo for a while before starting at SCAD. I recently graduated Cum Laude from SCAD with a degree in Film and Television.

I originally chose Business because I was torn between the two fields, but once I began my studies, I realized how deeply I wanted to focus on film. I’ve always been drawn to storytelling and the creative process, which led me to pursue directing and writing. At the same time, I enjoy making things happen—which is why I also gravitate toward producing and apply my management skills in both roles.

I also have a strong passion for logistics and organization, which I’ve been able to apply to every production I’ve produced and in the events I’ve organized. Whether it’s coordinating crews, managing budgets, or planning multi-day shoots, I take pride in turning complex ideas into clear, executable plans.

I’m someone who constantly seeks new challenges and strives to take part in (or create) complex narratives that explore human conflict. I believe storytelling is a powerful tool to better understand human behavior and build empathy. That’s why I’m passionate about narratives that reflect those ideas—whether consciously or unconsciously—for the viewer.
